Basic Instinct 2 is a 2006 film, the long awaited sequel to the 1992 blockbuster Basic Instinct. Directed by Michael Caton Jones. Written by Leona Barish and Henry Bean. I suppose the most bothering part of Basic Instinct 2 wasn't the story, the cast or the location of London, England. The location was clever. Far away from Los Angeles. It was the fact that one of the greatest thrillers of all time couldn't reboot fast enough to help Ms. Stone's appearance match her character. BASIC INSTINCT by JOE ESZTERHAS INT. A BEDROOM - NIGHT It is dark; we don't see clearly. A man and woman make love on a brass bed. There are mirrors on the walls and ceiling.
